Summer weather inspries lifestyle changes in all of us. It's the sun really, and it starts making us act, feel, and do differently! We take more trips, play outdoors, wake up energized, go to ball games, cook different foods, and in general, relax a bit more. I have alwasy been slightly baffled by retailers who don't change their stores' offering even slightly to cater more towards summer activities.
Along with a little decoration that can go a really long way in making your store feel summer equipped, it is important to offer products that will compliment your customers' warm weather activities. Decorate a small section that caters towards the local crowd and what they might be doing this weekend (i.e. hiking the local mountain range, fishing at the lake an hour away, etc.).
For instance, sales of travel products like ice chests generally increase during this time.
